Trusting in the Promises

As each day goes by, I am wrestling with my emotions. With the Lords help, I am trying to speak truth to my heart that my head knows. Have you ever been there?
This is the Scripture that the Lord has used in my heart the last few days. It is found in an obscure book of the Bible that is often hidden in the Old Testament.
Habbakuk 3:17-19, "Even though the fid trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vine, even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren, even though the flocks die in the fields and the cattle barns are empty, YET I WILL REJOICE IN THE LORD! I WILL BE JOYFUL IN THE GOD OF MY SALVATION. THE SOVEREIGN LORD IS MY STRENGTH! HE WILL MAKE ME AS SUREFOOTED AS A DEER AND BRING ME SAFELY OVER THE MOUNTAINS!"
For today I know that I must choose to rejoice and have joy in the Lord. Not in my circumstances.
Please rejoice with me in the Sovereign hand of our God. Please continue to pray that Evan's visa will be approved. They officially have till Feb 12th.
